Statement from European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) on December 10th 2025:
Today we and the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) met with representatives from the Ramazzini Institute at EFSA’s premises.
We had a fruitful exchange on the findings of the Global Glyphosate Study (2025), in which we and ECHA had the opportunity to pose questions before we evaluate the study.
Openness and transparency remain a top priority for us as we engage with stakeholders and review emerging scientific evidence, and we appreciated the dialogue with representatives of the Ramazzini Institute.
